Introduction
Welcome to On the Horizen, your one-stop-shop for everything to know about the current standard meta provided by members of the Hype Horizen team themselves! Every Friday you can expect a detailed report on the meta as a whole and some tips for how to maneuver through it. This will also be a hot spot for other articles written by team members. PLEASE NOTE: All information is based on personal experience + personal statistics gathered through many hours of high-level gameplay.
Meta Overview
As the meta keeps evolving, more and more decks are becoming playable. The rising popularity of rush warrior has sparked a surge of no minion mage and spell damage mage due to their removal options and end-game burst damage. All classes are viable with multiple archetypes except maybe Shaman for now.
Best Decks
Since there are a lot of powerful decks at the moment, the best decks of this week will go to those that have the best matchup spread.

Closing Thoughts
The meta is remarkably diverse with a lot of viable decks/classes, but it can sometimes feel match-up based. With the top decks getting changed almost every day currently, this card pool still feels like a deckbuilder’s paradise. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more things to be discovered and tested before the mini-set comes out next month. In the meantime, any of the decks above should work well depending on your meta.
