Hearthstone Meta Report – August 19

Introduction

Welcome to On the Horizen, your one-stop-shop for everything to know about the current standard meta provided by members of the Hype Horizen team themselves! Every Friday you can expect a detailed report on the meta as a whole and some tips for how to maneuver through it. This will also be a hot spot for other articles written by team members. PLEASE NOTE: All information is based on personal experience + personal statistics gathered through many hours of competitive-level gameplay.

Meta Overview

The new patch just came out and there is a lot of stuff that has change (but also a lot of stuff that has stayed the same). Most decks right now revolve around Denaturius or some other way of killing from hand while a few decks still rely on board.

The meta is still evolving but one of the best early decks from the patch has been Miracle Rogue. With Shaman being nerfed along with some aggro in Hunter the Miracle Rogue build has a lot more room to work with. It has quickly gone from a Tier 3/4  deck to a SOLID Tier 1/2  deck after everything.

Decks

Here are the best decks to play right now and decks to have fun with.

Tier 1: Best decks in current meta, guaranteed playable in legend

Tier 2: Decks to climb the ranks

Tier 3: Can be used for climbing, but consider taking the risk

Tier 1 (VERY GOOD)

Tier 2 (Good)

Tier 3 (CAN climb, but it’s harder)

Closing Thoughts

Honestly, every single deck on this list is good to climb with (but Relic DH is going to be hard). The patch just came out so its possible things change but for now this is what the top decks are in GENERAL. This might not be the case at the TOP legend or in the depths of Bronze because people have different play styles and different amounts of dust to build decks.
