Hearthstone Meta Report – February 26

Introduction
Welcome to On the Horizen, your one-stop-shop for everything to know about the current standard meta provided by members of the Hype Horizen team themselves! Every Friday you can expect a detailed report on the meta as a whole and some tips for how to maneuver through it. This will also be a hot spot for other articles written by team members. PLEASE NOTE: All information is based on personal experience + personal statistics gathered through many hours of high-level gameplay.

Meta Overview
The current meta is approaching the end, as new cards will be released in about a month. However, some current decks are still being refined, and even a few new decks emerged. Previous popular decks such as control warrior and zoo warlock are seeing less and less play, as they did not receive much support from the new expansion. Yet, some unpopular decks such as guardian druid might be able to regain their spot in the meta.

Best Decks
Meta is in fact, at a very rock-paper-scissor stage right now. A lot of decent decks exist, and most tend to counter some decks while being countered by other ones. Best choices include OTK demon hunter, control/enrage/bomb warrior, burn mage, aggro rogue, ramp paladin, and highlander priest.

Closing Thoughts

Although there are a lot of deck options, the current meta is at a very fast stage. Most games tend to end within 7 turns. Personally, I am actually looking forward to the next expansion, and the return of 2014 Hearthstone.
