Hearthstone Meta Report – November 5

Introduction
This is going to be the only list you need for the best decks in Hearthstone. This will be based on legend gameplay, legend statistics, and personal experience that lead to some dark horse decks. The idea of this is to find decks that will are easiest to pick up and play and are good at all ranks. This might not reflect the power level of decks at the highest (or lowest) ranks but these are the ones that are great if you are climbing through gold to diamond.

Meta Overview
The Deadmines mini-set dropped just a few days ago and meta seems almost unfazed. This is likely due to the power level of existing decks being extremely high, and only 35 cards being added with no changes beside them. The overall meta feels the same as before, maybe even speeding up a bit due to very aggressive tools like Mr. Smite.

Best Decks
After gaining Mr. Smite and Defias Cannonneer in the Deadmines mini-set, Quest Warrior has easily become a top tier deck. The pirates are much more consistent and have insane finishing power. Libram Paladin has yet again gained another tool in it’s arsenal with Sunwing Squawker, giving the deck more powerful swing turns. Garrote Rogue still feels like one of the top decks after adding Edwin who is essentially a third Field Contact and sometimes Blackwater Cutlass. Celestial Druid has gained a lot of traction with a few new additions, creating a one-turn-kill combo with Mr. Smite. Other decks have gotten some support, but these seemed to have the biggest impact on existing archetypes.

Closing Thoughts
Every class continues to have a viable deck or two except Priest. The Deadmines mini-set brought us some very powerful tools that further enhance successful archetypes. This made the meta feels quite stale again after just a short while of playing with the new cards. I believe that in order for the meta to truly change, we will need to see nerfs and buffs. It has been a very hard time to be a control player these past few months, and Mr. Smite does not help in the slightest.
