The Noztourmu Tournament

The Noztourmu is a Hearthstone standard tournament I have created to not only bring a ton of fun to streamers, players, and viewers, but also to bring money to the Able Gamers charity. I came up with the idea when planning on how to get footage for the new “Nozdormu the Eternal” card. I quickly realized the best way to consistently get footage would be to create a controlled environment. This quickly turned into wanting to share this strategy with other content creators, and so I created The Noztourmu SPECIFICALLY to help streamers get clips of their crazy fast games.

Along those same lines, I do plan on running more of these! I think the hype this has created is not only good for the Able Gamers charity, but to the small streamers who may need help finding a community or ideas for content. This format is brand new and I am extremely excited to be at the forefront trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t.

Now my only fear is that Nozdormu will be bugged on day one….

Able Gamers

When Wolfram and I were first bringing this tournament to life he suggested we find a charity to support for the event, and I immediately agreed. We both love the idea of supporting those in need while we build up a positive community for our channels. Wolf found the Able Gamers Charity, choosing this charity specifically because the new Nozdormu the Eternal card prevents moments in Hearthstone where APM (Actions per minute) matter. Thus, helping out gamers with disabilities.

Able Gamers is all about helping gamers with disabilities have fun and give them a chance to do something that everyone else is doing. Their message is simple: #SoEveryoneCanGame.

If you’d like to make a donation to Able Gamers, you can visit their site here: OR donate to during The Noztourmu. All donations go straight to the Able Gamers Charity

Teaming up with Hype Horizen

I had reached out to HypeHorizen shorty after reading a tweet from @GuyGrumpy that invited streamers to join the HypeHorizen community team, I happily worked out the details with GuyGrumpy and have been working closely with HypeHorizen administration to really get the word out there about this tournament. As a small streamer with big dreams of AWESOME events and streams, this opportunity to team up with HypeHorizen and promote The NozTourmu means a lot to me. I am very thankful at how well the team has done including me and helping promote the tourney with such short notice.

I have been playing video games since before most of you were born, starting with Colecovision and an Atari 2600. Before esports were around, I played Rainbow Six 2: Rogue Spear at the highest competitive level. Now a father thrice over, I spend some of my extra time streaming games like Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and most recently Fortnite.
