Welcome CrimsonPanda to Hype Horizen

Through hard work, dedication and determination CrimsonPanda has worked his way up through the ranks of the HypeHorizen Community Team, Hype Rizing. In Hype Rizing we assist streamers and creators in their journey of streaming and content creation. We’d like welcome CrimsonPanda to Hype Horizen.

How did you first learn of Hype Horizen?

I first learned of Hype Horizen by watching upcoming streamers like Funki Monki and saw the Hype Horizen tag on their screen. I looked into becoming a team member because they were helping content creators grow. Ever since I had started streaming and posting, I wanted to join a community that I would be proud to represent and share my journey with. At the time, I was a small content creator and I when I was given the opportunity to become a member, I was very excited.

What platform do you stream on and why?

I stream on Twitch because there are a lot of people coming to view Heathstone on there but I mainly post videos onto Youtube. I have a full time job and a family so making consistent content is not an easy feat. Posting on Youtube fits around my routine as it is more flexible and I enjoy reading the feedback and critisism that helps me improve.

How did you get into gaming?

I have been gaming since I could first hold a controller. Some of my past favourites have been Ratchet and Clank, Pokemon and Guitar Hero. I have always loved playing games on multiple platforms but my real passion was stategy based card games. I played MTG, Pokemon and a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh. I went to weekly tournaments and loved the competitive community so when I heard about Blizzard releasing Hearthstone, I immeadiately applied for a beta key to gain early access (which I did) and instantly fell in love with the game.

Do you have a gaming idol, someone in Esports or gaming that you look up to?

It’s hard to choose from the many people who have influenced and inspired me over the years. I respect all content creators as I know how difficult it is to initially be in front of the camera and then remain comsistent and professional.

I would say my idols have been Funki Monki and Dekkster because I have learnt a lot from their content. They play off-meta decks which are fun to watch and different to what other creators are posting.

What is the best part about streaming?

My favourite thing about streaming is engaging with chat. Having people talk to you whilst you’re playing a game allows you to relax and be yourself. Knowing that these individuals have chosen to watch your stream over the many others is uplifting.

How does being a stream inspire you to do good?

It gives me a sense of responsibility to not only be good at the game but to also put out good vibes for those who just need an escape. I find when I am more upbeat and fun I have more viewers and positive chat.

What game(s) are you streaming? What do you enjoy about them?

I stream Hearthstone Mercenaries which was the game mode I was most excited for when I first heard about it. I liked that it was similar to Pokemon with the fire/water/grass element. I also like the PVP structure, giving you a new level of thought process.

There aren’t many people posting content of Mercenaries and as a result of that I have had a lot of positive feeback on my content from people who do enjoy the game mode and want to see more of it.

Who is your “Arch Nemesis”?

I wouldn’t say I have an Arch Nemesis but I do enjoy playing people on ranked or on ladder from my friends list (It gives me the giggles).

In terms of a nemesis, ZombiesGoNomNom is another Mercenaries player that puts his videos on YouTube which get similar views to mine. He’s doing a great job promoting the game mode. I wouldn’t call him a rival, more an ally.

Do you have a sidekick? If so, whom?

I don’t really have a sidekick, just a few people who have supported me along my journey. I have a tremendous amount of support from my wife as it takes a lot of time away from her to create videos.

I’ve also had encounters with WowHobbs, a big Hearthstone Youtuber, who always asks me how my stream is going and shouts me out in his streams. It’s so appreciated that he would take the time to promote me and it really gives me a confidence boost. I hope I can carry this on and do this for others.

What is your mission as a streamer?

I want to encourage more people to play Heathstone, especially Mercenaries. I would like to expand my viewership and community and open more doors for not only me but Hype Horizen. With more popularity I would love to inspire and help small content creators/streamers.

I don’t want to get ahead of myself but I want to the biggest and best Hearthstone Mercenaries content creator!
